Foxhound’s Dark n’ Gritty is built for bands looking for something to be as gritty as their tunes. Whether you’re the next Gallows, August Burns Red, or erm…Metallica—this theme’s got what you need. It comes in 4 different colours (Turquoise, Blue, Red, Green), the ability to upload your own promo pic into the header, load your MySpace tunes, and link to your other social media hubs.

Other Notes
Fails on W3 Validation with 237 Errors and 390 Warnings. However, we’ve been informed by the developer that this is due to plugins used on the site. Without them the site is fully W3 valid.
In order to get the most out of this theme the author suggests the following:
the Myspace player is built in as well as the social links that show up on the header. The Facebook Like Box is just a plugin we installed as well as the GigPress. We took a similar route as BandThemer by providing the documentation and recommendations of which plugins work best as to make sure our users have the latest plugin versions and to keep the file size down. We want to tell our users what is possible through WordPress and our documentation but we don’t actually include the plugins to auto-install in our download.
